Lead and expand the product marketing strategy—driving growth, enterprise trust, sales enablement, and partnerships through targeted messaging, PLG initiatives, and impactful launches across key personas and channels.
Responsibilities:
- Build and scale our product marketing team, encompassing developer relations, content marketing, events, and sales enablement.
- Develop a scalable product-led growth (PLG) strategy to drive overall revenue—leveraging self-serve momentum while seamlessly transitioning high-value opportunities to the sales team.
- Strengthen LocalStack’s brand trust and credibility among mid-market and enterprise audiences by enhancing visibility, perception, and industry recognition.
- Empower the sales team with impactful messaging, positioning, and sales enablement materials to maximize their effectiveness.
- Define the go-to-market (GTM) and product marketing strategy for upcoming product launches.
- Drive both bottom-up and top-down conversion strategies to increase paid user adoption.
- Own messaging, positioning, and market strategy for both existing and new LocalStack products, tailored to key personas.
- Establish, monitor, and lead the team toward achieving core KPIs.
- Maximize return on investment from a lean marketing budget.
- Strengthen current marketing partnerships and forge new ones—through blog collaborations, conferences, speaker engagements, and more.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar product marketing or go-to-market role, ideally within a B2B SaaS or developer-focused environment.
- Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or developer tools.
- Proven data-driven leader, skilled in setting up systematic tracking, measuring success, and iterating based on insights.
- Demonstrates the ability to quickly adapt to new domains, technologies, and evolving target personas.
- Brings a strategic, growth-oriented mindset with a track record of driving measurable impact.
- Empathetic communicator with a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
- Actively engaged on social media, at industry events, and within relevant professional communities.
