· You'll serve our customers at every stage of the brand lifecycle, so you will have strong interpersonal skills as you communicate with all customers, internal R&D, and plant operations. Responsibilities:
Reporting to the maintenance manager, the planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating all plannable maintenance work performed within the facility.
The planner is also responsible for maintaining records, software and files essential to the meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.
The planner must know the job well enough to describe what is to be accomplished and estimate how many labour hours will be required.
In performing his/her duties, the planner will be the principal contact and liaison between maintenance, operations and other supported departments. In this capacity, the planner ensures that all internal beneficiaries of maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service.
The planner is responsible for long-range as well as short-range planning. These essential variables must be balanced to establish and sustain a proactive maintenance environment. Long-range planning involves the regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources.
Qualifications:
· Must have at least 3 years experience as a Maintenance Coordinator or Planner in a manufacturing environment.
· Must possess CMMS expertise to plan, track labour and parts costs, and report.

Summary:
Troubleshoot problems using manuals, schematics, and Manufacturer’s services to keep equipment downtime to a minimum and machinery operating to specifications. Minimize production equipment downtime by performing major Preventative Maintenance related to electrical or mechanical functions, particularly emphasizing electrical troubleshooting.
