Regional Account Sales Manager

Description

The Sales Manager leads our team in the food sales sector and related industries (Spices). This role is ideal for a professional with a strong sales background (bulk and packed products) in supermarkets, supermarket chains, or food service specially in the Spanish market. 


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales within the food industry (Spices) or related fields. 
  • In-depth knowledge of the market in all states. Strong relationships with buyers in retailers all over the U.S 
  • Relationship Management - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and customers. Understands team dynamics and works well independently and within a team structure. Capable of working with others proactively and constructively. Able to visit clients and potential leads. 
  • Project Management - A mastery of organizational and project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives/deadlines autonomously and shift priorities, as necessary. Able to manage large, complex projects. Uses time effectively. 
  • Financially Minded - Strong understanding of financial concepts including but not limited to customer P&Ls, pricing and forecasting. 
  • Analytical – Able to deconstruct databases, decipher data sets, and reassemble as needed in presentable reports highlighting and summarizing findings in executive summaries. 
  • Leadership - Proven skills in team management and sales strategy development. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.  
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred. 


  Must be able to succeed and achieve these KPIs: 


  • Revenue Growth (%) – Increase in sales revenue compared to previous periods.
  • Sales Target Achievement (%) – Percentage of sales quota achieved.
  • New Customer Acquisition (#) – Number of new clients added.
  • Customer Retention Rate (%) – Percentage of repeat customers.
  • Product Penetration Rate (%) – Growth in the number of SKUs (stock-keeping units) sold per customer.


RESPONSABILITIES


  • Develops and increases product knowledge and market outreach. 
  • Generates product sales to new and existing customer base through marketing and skills set. 
  • Interfaces with all levels of the company, customers and their company management or owners, brokers and manufacturer representatives. 
  • Qualifies new business through vetted customer briefs. Works with the Project Management Department to determine the scope and launch plan of new business opportunities. Keeps track of and manages customer-specific inventory. 
  • Tracks sales progress, obtains sales/production goals, and determines pricing/marketing strategies at appropriate profit margin levels. 
  • Works with Finance to set customer pricing through PnL development. Review POs against the contracts, develops and issues Pricing Letters. 
  • Develops interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor and trust, both internally and externally. 
  • Works successfully to achieve company’s KPIs 
  • Able to manage, update and pull reports from our CRM system (Dynamics 365)
